Crowned Miss St. Eustatius Senior Queen 2023, Ms. Rosalie Patrick captivated the judges and audience alike, earning the titles of Best Speech, Best Talent, Best Interview, and Miss Amity. Her journey is a powerful story of transformation, resilience, and self-discovery.

At the beginning of her pageant experience, Rosalie—affectionately known as Rosie—expressed feelings of nervousness and self-doubt about participating in the pageant, especially in front of such a large audience. Despite these fears, she challenged herself to step out of her comfort zone and embrace a new sense of confidence. Initially seen by many, including herself, as the "underdog," Rosie faced tough competition from contestants whom she viewed with more stage experience. However, through months of preparation and personal growth, she overcame her insecurities and surprised both herself and others by showcasing talents she never knew she possessed.

During her interviews and speech segments, Rosie opened up about her past struggles with self-esteem and mental health, revealing how she was bullied as a child and teenager for having scoliosis and also her life circumstances. These challenges deeply impacted her deeply. Today, Rosie has found strength in her journey, learning to embrace her natural beauty, appreciate her path, and nurture self-love.

Rosalie’s warm, friendly demeanor and radiant spirit have made her a beloved and inspiring figure. Her authenticity and kindness exemplify true beauty and grace. Now pursuing her dream of becoming a successful Immigration Agent, Rosie continues to embody the qualities of perseverance and ambition.

Little Miss Nayema Schmidt

Crowned Little Miss Statia 2023, it came as no surprise when Nayema captured the title, also earning several distinctions including Best Creative Wear and Best Princess Apparel, among couple others.

While she may appear quiet and reserved off stage, Nayema transforms into a vibrant and dynamic presence under the spotlight. Her charisma, confidence, and captivating performance left a lasting impression on both the audience and the judges.

Throughout her reign, Nayema has embraced her role with dedication, serving as Statia’s youngest ambassador and a positive role model for her peers. She has consistently demonstrated the grace, poise, and cultural pride befitting a true queen and representative of the island.

With her natural talent and radiant spirit, Nayema’s future looks exceptionally bright.
